Network Server Configuraiton
Network server is defined as the type of computer that deals all the tasks of the computers that are connected in different pattern to a given computer network . Basically the main duty of the network server is to mange the quality of the performance of network and also provides the easy opportunity to the clients of accessing the network. The computers that are connected to the network through network server are called as clients. Network servers are based on the local area networks and they also take part n all type of data transmission from those LAN networking media.

Configuration of Network Server:
Configuration of the network server is based upon the different type of components and setups also different type of programs and softwares. Network server is configured buy keeping their duties in view. Most of the common functions that network server can do are the web hosting, transmission of data between different locations and file sharing also. The configuration of the network server completes in a step wise process. The steps that are used in configuring the network server are given below
Collection of Hardware:
The first step in the configuration of the network server is to collect or gathered the required hardware. The person who is going to configure the network server should have network server box, availability of computer network and diff4rent type pf connecting cables that are used to connect the computer and the network server box to the networking devices. The user should know the way to make a connection between the hardware of the network server.
Connect to the network:
When all the important and the required parts of the network server configuration has been collected then built a connection between the server and the network by using Ethernet cable as baseline. Different type of fiber cables are also used for building s connection.
Networking Protocols:
For the sake of the connection between the server and the network user should enable the required protocols and disable the unwanted protocols. For enabling or disabling the protocols user should use the SQL server and should only on those protocols that are the need of the clients that are connected to the networking server. The protocols that are used in the configuration of the network server have equal rights to access the network. Change the networking pipeline if required for the sake of the network server configuration because some pipes are not compatible with the server or the network.
Security of Server:
Different type of softwares solutions are also used to protect the network server from the unwanted accesses and different type of viral softwares. Different type of encryption keys are also used for the sake of the protection of the network servers. Authentication or the use4rname and the password process are also used for the security purposes.
Choice of Operating System:
A suitable and the recommended type of the operating system should be used to accomplish the proper working of the network server. The recommended operating system for the sake of the professionalism of the network server and maintain its working performance is the LINUX because it provides multi support to the networking system. It is essential for the operator or the user to check the updates of the operating system and the anti virus softwares daily for their proper function.
Registration:
User should take steps to register the server name with the help of typical authentication. The name is called as server principal name. It is important because it provides security to the clients and produces a secure way of access to the network.
