How to setup wireless router - Configuring wireless router
In the World of technology, very advanced technologies are present which really plays a beneficial role for the humanity. One of these technologies is the wireless networking technology. Wireless technology really advances the whole World towards the modern and the new ways of communication between the two places or the people of the present era. There are many components of wireless technology, which are required to communicate with each other present at different places at the same time.

The major component on which whole working depends is the router. It is defined as the device that is used to transmit data from one place to another in the form of packets that are called as data packets is known as router. These data packets are also called data gram. Basically the router is used to provide the way for the data transferring from one place to another. It works when the signals from the network or from the access point generated in the form of radio signals then router receive them and them implement on the networking device and then receiver receives those signals in the form of data packets, hence data is transferred.
Types of Router:
On the basis of working router is categorized into two different types that help in transferring the data in different ways. These types are as follows
Static Router:
It is a type of routing device that is only applicable on the small networks and always adopt the shortest path provided by the administration for transferring the data between two places is called as static router.
Dynamic Router:
Another type of router that plays an important role transmitting the data is the dynamic router. It is the types of router that is more efficient as compared to static one and also work in the shortest way i.e. from node to node. It is independent of administration and always adopt the small path by itself.
How to Setup a Router:
Setting up the router on your computer is not a big deal as it seems. For setting we need different type of hardware that is used to in connection to the network for the proper working of the router and accessibility of the network. Important steps that are used to setup router are as follows
Important Hardware:
The hardware that is required to setting up a router is given below; in the setting, an internet or the broadband connection is required for connecting the router to the network. Different types of network adapters are also required for configuring the networking devices with the network. Different types of ports and modem is the need for the connection of router to the network for the sake of data transmission.
Setting up a router:
For setting up the router first, turn off the working of the modem that is connected to the computer, unplug the port from the computer, and plug it into the routing point of the router and then again turn on the modem. After several minutes turn on the router also and start its configuration.
Router Configuration:
After setting start the configuration of the router by connecting it completely with the computer. IP address and the password of the device is required for the configuration settings of the router for its proper function in data transmission. Change the security setting by changing the default password top the new secret one to avoid hacking. Also, change the wireless encryption privacy settings.
Network Settings:
After configuring the router, configure the network if it is not configured before. For the latest operating systems, run the installation wizard, install the network, change the security setting, and configure the settings of WEP to transfer the data with the help of router safely. After these easy steps, you can set up the router quit easily.
