How to change mac address

Computer networking is the very vast field and different types of applications are used to carry on the networking smoothly. Another application of the computer networking that is called as Media Access Control address or MAC address. Basically it is the types of address that is used to access the networking adaptors used for the networking purpose and also used to media access control protocols for their specific functions is referred to as the MAC address. It is not common but it has unique properties to that are assigned to the NIC (Network Interface Cards). The main function of the MAC is to identify the networks from different types of networking adapters.

How to Change the MAC Address?
There are different methods or steps that are used to change the MAC addresses for different operating systems, for example that steps used for changing the MAC of one window is little bit different from other windows. As computer networking technology moves towards the latest researches so, we can talk about the latest one. Here are some steps that are used to change the MAC address of the latest operating systems

First of check the compatibility of your system with the network then start the process to change the MSAC address.
After this open the start menu and clicks on the control panel tabulator, when the menu of the control panel menu opens go the Networking and Sharing center by clicking it and then select the Change network Adapters settings. Then choose that MAC address which is going to be change and check its properties.
Properties menu consist of different tabs but select the configure button by clicking after this, clicks the advanced button the list opens. Then choose the Network Address option from the list and then write the new Media Access Control address in the given box of the open menu.
Make sure that you write the new MAC address related sequence to the old one but not like the old one. After writing the new address clicks OK button to keep the changes.
After clicking the OK button, now its time to register the MAC Address with the network. If old MAC address is registered then do the modification to the new one from old.
to modify the registry go to the start menu and open the Run and write regedit to open the registry navigation process then navigate the new MAC address from the list.
You should select the option from the list that is closely matched to your MAC properties. And then new menu opens you will see Network address button there. Right click the tab and select the option of Modify, when you click the tab the menu opens containing the box for entering the new and the changed media access control address. Here you should enter the address.
After this click OK button to save the setting then reinstall the networking adapter and check out the properties of the new modified MAC address. For smooth working of the network you should reconfigure the IP address.
Make sure one thing while running the setup for changing the MAC address that all the commands or the work is done ion the command prompt.
Your address will change.
