Adsl problems and oppertunities


What is ADSL?

Generally it is defined as the networking device that belongs to a family of DSL and can use the copper wires that are used in the typical telephone line for the sake of data transmission and communication by using the non voice frequencies is called as ADSL. ADSL have many applications such as providing the high speed internet technology to the users and also applicable on many TV devices and many more.

Probelms with ADSL:

ADSL is the faster mode of the data transmission form one place to another as compared to the typical modem. There are different steps  used in making the connection for the sake of internet technology. As it is the faster technology so, it faces many challenges and the problems that throw a bad light on the technology. Some challenges and their possible solutions of ADSL technology are as follows

 

Connection Problems:

Commonly faced challenges by the ADSL technology are a type problem that occurred in the connections and prohibits the working of the ADSL. Basically these problems are categorized by the wrong configuration and the bad installation or the inexperience user. Some common problems or challenges that the user face during the connection are the particular sounds from the line, disconnection during the dialing or receiving the calls etc.


Solution:
This challenge can be overcome with the help correct installation and the configuration of the filters. Also check or install the filters for the fax machines also if connected. By following these techniques user would be able to overcome the challenge.

 

Security Problems:

Asymmetric digital subscriber line ADSL technology provide the faster networking speed as compared to conventional modem so it has different types of security risks that are the negative aspect of the technology. Due to these security challenges users don’t have secure networking and it is very convenient for the hackers to hack the data that is transmitted. That is why people start disliking the wireless technologies

 

Solution:


This challenge of the ADSL would be resolved by using different types of network securing software and applications such as different types of antivirus and WEP and many more and can maintain the position and the performance of DSL in the market.

Slow Networking Speed:


Slow speed is also a big challenge for the ADSL because nowadays due to the presence of the wireless devices people likes the faster sped of networking and the wireless devices have enough faster speed to beat the ADSL in the market. So organizations have to perform the different tasks to enhance the speed of the technology.

 

Opportunities of ADSL:


As ADSL is the wired and the old technology, so it is reliable and enough secure to do the networking. So there are many future opportunities that are hidden in the ADSL for the sake of the benefit of the mankind. Some of important importunities of ADSL are as follows

 

  1. Due to its wired nature we can easily merge the technology with any other wireless device. Due to this we can enhance the working of the wireless and the ADSL more and also increase the reliability of the technology. If we combine the networking hubs or the Ethernet cables with the ADSL, it help us to increase the speed and he value of ADSKL in the market
  2. ADSL also have future opportunities to overcome the demand of technology of the present World. With the help of extension of the ADSL cables we can generate a large network that really increases the business and performance of the ADSL among the people. In future if the cables are more elastic as compared to present then we can easily achieve the target of extension
