3GPP2 stands for 3rd Generation Partnership Project 2, It is that type of technology in which different type of telecommunication services are combined with the new services of the mobile phone such as 3G mobile phone system to increase the importance pf the services such as CDMA and IMT. There are many benefits of such technology because with the help of that you can share your video callings on the mobile phone with the other companies for the sake of good business.
3GPP2 Multimedia Domain Architecture:
Basically 3GPP2 Multimedia Domain Architecture is that form of architecture in which with the help of combination of different technologies we can provide the IP services on the mobile phone for the mobile users for the sake of their good networking. This technology is only applicable on those mobile networks that are completely based on the CDMA 2000 technology of networking. Whole working of the multimedia domain architecture is completely similar or based on another architecture that is called as IMS (IP multimedia subsystem). 3GPP@ architectures are also applicable on other specific networks such as UMTS.
How it Works?
The 3GPP2 multimedia domain architecture has great working to provide the good networking to their users by arranging the system in the special kind of framework. In the working of the 3GPP2 multimedia domain different parts are involved such as different types of direct terminals which are may be the cell phones and PDAs etc to carry on the networking. Other important frame which is required to set the architecture for the 3GPP2 multimedia domain is the source of access to the network i.e. for the 3GPP2 multimedia domain some fixed access points are required such as DSL networking and different type of Ethernet services. If talks about some kind of wireless access points for the working of such technology are wireless LAN and all other that supports the networking, mobile access points can also play an important role to complete the architecture of the 3GPP2 multimedia domain such as the networks that provide the CDMA, GSM and GPRS services etc. Another important part of the architecture is that we should use only the particular protocols which suites such networking for example session initiation protocol (SIP). We can set the architecture also on the old typical telephone by using the advance and number of gateways. So, on these basic steps the architecture of the 3GPP2 Multimedia Domain (MMD) depends.
